This was the telephone number given to me by a self-proclaimed "Microsoft engineer" as the legitimate number for a "Microsoft Windows Service Provider" in Oxford. TAX Automated call advising they were HMRC and that I was involved in a tax fraud allegation by them. Told to press 1 to speak to HMRC. Told if I did not, a warrant would be issued for my arrest which would happen imminently!

When answered automated service states barclays and other bank customers etc entitled to ppi etc. when you ring back an automated nessage answers the phone saying about pension entitlments, if you press 9 apparently your number gets put on their do not contact list.
