Obvious scam number, phoned the number back straight away to hear "this persons phone is switched off".
SCAM; beware, there was a recorded message saying £600 transaction had just happened on my credit card and to press 1 to stop the transaction. my credit card complant would not call me from a mobile number using a recorded message. BEWARE

Think it’s a scammer on FB, has hacked into an account on there and pretending to be a widower living in Bedford. The phone is being used in the Preston area. I have blocked before he tries to extract money from me. He will not send current face photo with today’s date in his hand so I know it is a scammer. The FB profile hacked looks very American not Uk. I tried to send a text message to this mobile number but it would not send so I blocked it.

I couldn't tell hardly a word this character was saying. Sounded like a long distance call from India whilst he was wearing a big steel bucket on his head! I did pick one word which was "handset" at which I ended the call. My number is registered with the TPS but, as usual, that was a waste of time.
Called asking questions about my phone on a very bad line; didn't say who they are, just straight into nosey questions.. I told them to get some proper phones themselves and hung up.

I'm not too certain about the caller, as he started off by saying both my Company name & personal name, & he'd obviously "done his homework" as when I asked him who was calling, he said the name of my provider. Unfortunately he spoke at the speed of sound, so when I asked, he said he'd speak slower, but then the line disconnected, so I didn't get to find out whether the caller was genuine or not. Monday May 8 Call from this number stating they were ringing from microsoft. This was one of a series of 6 calls starting on Friday 5th that stated they were (or were probably connected )from microsoft ! Different numbers used for each call; no messages left on answerphone.
