Caller claimed to be VW Finance calling about an agreement. They couldn t tell me the reg no of the car they were calling about. Also didn t seem to know my name.
Unprofessional sounding people with heavy Indian accent and English Christian names (Mark, Mary, etc) purporting to be Virgin Media concerned wether on best package.
I was out all day dealing with a crisis which meant I went 23 hours before I got to bed. I found this number had called me. Out of courtesy I rang back in the morning, as I had been expecting someone important to call and wondered whether it was the person I wanted it to be. All I got was a recorded message which started off by congratulating me because I had been specially selected and needed to press a button to find out what it was. Quite obviously this was another trap from some criminal organis
I've just had a voicemail from this number from holly Hartley too saying it's important I call back. Not sure whether to phone or not

SCAM - automated voice from supposedly HMRC saying a case of fraud been opend in my name and that if i dont press one a warrant will be issued for my arrest.
I rang back hiding my number, when put through, I was told my details had been passed to them from national database, and that I had been involved in a road collision. I told her she didn t know who I was, but insisted my phone number was displayed and matched to the database. Obviously from the outset this is just a cold call hoping who ever answers has been involved in some kind of accident
