I reported this number and no message, at the time I did not know where it came from; On the map, it was in a field up north. don't know why it would indicate that. Now found out this is a new number to me and someone I know. all ok. now.

The text message received from this number on 14/02/2024 at 12:13 simply read: "Got it (thumbs up emoji)" No other content and this number is not in my phone book nor was I expecting any messages like this from anyone. 08000520360 - Texts received with sender’s name as VirginMedia for an overdue payment for Virgin Media. This is a scam as have no dealings with anything related to Virgin Media.
There is no point in reporting to the TPS or OFCOM these numbers that any scammer can buy. The telecoms company Gamma Telecom Holdings Ltd That sold this number also supply a list of phone numbers to call. You are on that list if this number phoned you. Best is to get something like a Panasonic KX-TGJ420E. And leave a Google Maps review for the telecoms company.

I had a call from this number this morning at 10.49 (approx) and a recorded message came which told me that my Visa card had been used by someone for £900. I didn't bother to listen to the whole message as it was obvious to me that it was a scam. Interestingly I waited a few minutes and then called the number back (which I don't usually bother to do) and a very nice lady answered who said that she ran a clinic. It became obvious that she was genuine and that the scammers had used her number.

I was being informed that my Amazon Prime was out of date (which it was not). They stated I would need to pay £93, and whether I would like to speak with an operator.
Recorded message supposedly Amazon saying I’d ordered £399 worth of goods. Obviously I haven’t. Another scam caller. I now have 49 scam callers blocked on my landline and mobile.
