Man with a thick Indian accent rang claiming to be from BT ringing about the internet slowing down at the house. He had my name and address and postcode. When I asked what my account number was he reeled off a number (which later check was wrong). I said I’d call by back and he gave me an 0333 number saying it was BT customer service. Rubbish! Very clever scammers trying to gain access to your internet where they can steal your bank details etc

01224462015 = Cold Callers. Phone then you hear noise (them getting an answer from any of the other random numbers they call means they hang up on the rest) then they are gone. ABSOLUTE SCUM.

Like other reviews I received text message at 4.28am (very strange), supposedly from Apple stating: "We've noticed a transaction that seems unusual , therefore we've had to place a hold on your wallet features. Kindly visit EnableYourIDUser.com to see more information on how to continue using your apple wallet." SCAMScam. 'Christopher' from an 'accident claims line' regarding an accident on (correct date) that was 'not your fault'. This is around the 10th call in a month using same script from different numbers (all now blocked). Other numbers had reports describing similar calls, supposedly to settle claim for percentage of settlement. No mention of my insurance carrier. Rec'd a scam text from apple pay about needing to accept updated T&C. Apple do not communicate via text, the text had a clickable link, and I don't have apple pay anyway, so the scammer was never going to fool me!

Numbers 01182-302112 -308128 & -308140 are loft insulation scams. Phone rings and caller, a computer, hangs up if it doesn't hear a voice! If you answer "hello" or anything else, your line is then logged as a 'VOICE LINE' and you'll be called back sometime later by a con-artist! Whenever you don't recognize a number, DON'T SPEAK! JUST LISTEN! If you don't hear anyone and the line goes dead, then you've just successfully escaped being scammed! Well done :-)

this number called me at 16.54pm on my mobile, lovely indian girl called laura couldnt get out what she was saying for laughing, i then said to her to behave herself, she then hung up the phone, suspisiously not even 30secs later this number phoned 02081234648 twice within seconds of each other, but luckly my mobile blocked the second number as suspected spam, think both numbers are linked

Say they are from Curries Pc World and can do me a good deal, its obviously spam so hung up. Do not give them any details or bank account details.

This number is ringing my BT landline every day at different times of the day claiming to be from the BT technical department. The caller says they have been monitoring my broadband connection for several weeks and have detected a number of unauthorised users using my IP address. To correct this they want me to open my computer and accept new settings that they are about to give me. At this point I hang up assuming this is a scam and will give access to my PC and everything that is stored on it.

Called about a motorcycle accident only 6 days ago (about which I'd only spoken to insurance company) - their info was several days old and when I asked who they were and why they were contacting me they asked why I was being rude and then hung up! - all the signs of a dodgy '3rd party claims vulture' if you ask me!!
