Claiming to be Hammersmith police station over bank card fraud, check lots of bank acc details, then say when the call is finished a dialling tone sounds and to dial one's bank customer advice. SCAM just about to check my accounts ( just in case I’m wrong!) but it was a recorded call alleging a suspicious transaction to a money transfer service. No bank id provided and asked to press buttons to connect to “service team”

SCAM claimed to be from Domestic and General, knew my name and address and what was insured. They said it had expired, it is continuous so I questioned it and I was passed to Supervisor who wanted me to get my debit card. I hung up. It was a call centre, both Asian accents. SCAM HANG UP

No 02089812271 Claimed to be from BT saying they were calling about our BT broadband when pushed they asked for a MR Haslam. We do not have a BT provided broadband service. I presume it was the start of some form of scam. The caller was a female with a foreign accent so I guess this may be a spoofed london number and the call may have originated from abroad!!
