Received a call today from National Appliance Cover saying I had policy with them, taken out on their Join now pay later scheme. I have never agreed to having washing machine cover so know nothing of the policy. The caller said she was a policy advisor, I am eligible for a discount as I haven't made a claim. It is now to make payment - at the discounted amount, set up direct debit - not discounted, or cancel and pay a cancellation fee. I have never wanted the cover so why should I pay to cancel.

You might see this number if you are cooperating with certain Lettings Agencies, the one that uses Rentshield to get references for them, will probably also try to tell you that you need Liability Insurance Policy as a new Tenant. Asked if I wanted help with my loans and ppi - i queried what loans and ppi - they eventually admitted they don t know what loans or ppi - so i declined. I was then informed by the experienced sales person that he supposed ignorance is bliss and if I want to live like that then so be it. There s a four letter word with his name all over it... needless to day despite many times of asking them to scrub me from their databases they continue to pester me with inane rubbish.

Ambulance chaser named Reece from a company called "First Action" (doesn t exist), became very rude when I enquired as to his company details (phone number (this one is spoofed) address etc.) and hung up the phone. I am an TPS so them calling me for their "marketing purposes" (trying to strong arm me into making a claim about an accident and not taking no for an answer, repeatedly calling under different company names etc.) is harassment.
