I should have ordered from a company called Community Direct brochures that I did not pay. Now I have to carry the costs of collection, though I was not given any brochures, one invoice. You could meet me but I could if I pay now, save 25%. I said that I want everything in writing, and so the man said that he would not have my address and I will say it through. How can I get brochures have when the but have not my number?

Caller hung up as soon as phone was answered. Suspect (but do not know for sure) that this is a data company trying to validate my data.

Received a call from this number a few minutes ago. They asked for me by my real name which i never use. Said they were calling from talk talk about upgrading my package. I told the girl i don t have a package with them, and she quickly replied that she was calling from Thomson Local. I enqired "Thompson Local?" To which she answered that she will call me back. Automated Scottish female voice left a message quoting a reference number and telephone number to call back. The company was called Zinc, which I m assuming is a debt collection company or someone attempting to steal my personal information, seeing as I have no debt.

There isn t a UK prefix 0111 so the number is fake. Rule of thumb, if the number isn t genuine, neither is the reason for the call.
