Type of call: Attempted Fraud! Lady called Carol with a strong Indian accent pretending to be from Microsoft and trying to gain remote access to my PC. Definitely not Microsoft, definitely not calling from the UK, and definitely a scam.
Rang 4 times in the space of 3 minutes. Called back and number could not be recognised.
Recorded message of poor quality stating one should not ignore. From the quality of the message one should know this is a scam call.

Claims to be BT reporting problems with Internet connection and threatens to disconnect line unless action is taken. Prompts 'Press 1 to talk to an advisor about this' - clearly a scam.
This number has been ringing me a lot. I live in Denmark so I find it really odd that a number from + 44 has been ringing me.

Claimed to be National Accident Helpline Solicitors. Said I had been in a car accident and was due compensation. Wanted to know my personal details so i made up a lot of false rubbish and wasted their time. Obvious scammers.
SCAM / SPAM. Female caller claiming to be from Amazon and asking me whether I accept a charge for purchase of iPhone. I asked her to confirm details of my account to prove who she was. She hung up.

I left this comment on the Voxbone SA Scam Number function, which is apart of their website. Number seems to possibly be a missed call scam of a 0845 number. The number calls at around exactly the same time everyday, and leaves a voicemail that is completely blank. The idea of the scam is to make the mobile owner not pick up, but cost them on their next bill. Even though the caller did not initiate the call, the phone company will state they did. Phoned today at12.15 pm. Fairly gruff voice. Purportedly from BT. Asked me to confirm that I had been in touch with BT this morning. As I had, I said yes. There was some hesitation and a lot of background noise. I asked what he wanted. He asked if contact was by phone or mail (I think). I replied that the contact was on the internet and he abruptly ended the call.
