Re 01642373357 Received call saying they were conducting a survey on behalf of Bath & North East Somerset Council. I do a lot of work for the council and was surprised. I said Really, that s unusual. But go ahead . Caller mumbled we re a market research company and then hung up. I have let the council know as I have no idea what they were looking for but it clearly is not a legitimate company.

Had 2 calls, including on my mobile after purchasing an electrical appliance. Thankfully I had read the earlier reviews and ignored the calls. As others have said, went with Boots as they normally have good customer service, but for this they should be ashamed of themselves & disassociate themselves from this company/practice. This number claims my internet will be terminated in 24 hours due to illegal activity and offers options to talk to an account manager or supervisor. In my opinion, a hoax and potentially dangerous.

SCAM Guy called Daniel Gomes purporting to be from Amazon Prime informing me that someone in Manchester had tried to use my account and they needed to verify my details or my account would be suspended for my protection. I did not supply any information, but was told to think about it and call back on 0208 123 7233 which I certainly did not do. I was called again later and this time I hung up. I have received genuine e-mails from Amazon mentioning this type of scam.

SCAM Indian lady wanted me to give her my bank account details and dob in order to refund me £202. She said she represented Sky refund dept who had discovered they had been overcharging me for the past 12 months. I said that was odd as I am not a Sky customer. She gave her work address as 81 Newgate St, London. I pointed out that address is occupied by BT. She said Yes, BT and Sky now work together. She gave the postcode as OA4902. I pointed out there is no such postcode in UK.
