Don t answer any unknown numbers, they are all scams, PPI, accident claims, Passwords for your banks, phishing, and if it is too good to be true it Bloody well is don t be conned, report all of these callers get them to be prosecuted as they are illegally calling me everyone, as under the DPA, if we report them to the Information Commissioner they have been successfully prosecuted last one was fined ( ?1,350,000 ) alone company this year

I have not answered to these people. Not once. Yet, they call at least weekly. I ve got a years line rental with BT paid for up-front, which allows me to block 99% of unwanted calls (with a BT blocker phone purchased separately, in case anyone was wondering). This caller would likely be asking to speak with Mr Strevitt or Mr Gwendoline. As has been the nature of the calls for the past 3 years. Called to offer me some sort of deal for a holiday. when I told them I was at work they just hung up the phone.

Recorded message (about PPI?). Hung up but it still seemed to keep the line open until the end of the message preventing me from using 1741.

When I tried to politely decline advertising, I was told abruptly that the caller would call me again next year! Very aggressive and unnecessary.
