SCAM / SPAM from gumtree trying to buy item and adding £350 for delivery and expecting me to pay it. Claiming the total including delivery will be paid into my PayPal, reported to action fraud and gumtree.

SCAM. The full number is 0049 3549 72863, which suggests it is from Germany, though the man on the phone had an Indian accent. He claimed to be from 'Sky's Technical Department' and he'd had a report that my internet was running slow. Which was strange, because I hadn't reported any such fault and my internet is working fine/ So I strongly suspected it wasn't a genuine call from Sky and hung up.

Ambulance chaser. Pre-recorded message made to sound like a conversation saying that I d been in an accident.
They are based on wharf industrial estate in bury, Manchester and Blackburn. The staff who call have no idea, nor choice of who they ring as the system selects a number at random from their data, and only when the line opens do they see your name and address etc. They are legitimate in terms of what they are offering (a free hearing frequency test at your local football club/hotel) however, if you will receive any money should a claim be successful is questionable. Cold call asking if I'd had an accident in the last 3 years. Didn't even have the correct name for me and hung up when I asked to be removed from their database.
This number calls MANY times a day. Quite clearly it is an automated call as there is never at the other end!

SCAM / SPAM This was an English speaking polite male telling me that the Government funded insulation in my loft could be causing damage to my property and he wanted to arrange a visit to examine it. Fortunately before the call went any further he mentioned the "foam insulation" and when I said it was not foam in my loft he rang off. OBVIOUSLY A SCAM. He didn't get round to asking for bank details but I am sure he would have it I hadn't realised what he was up to.

I received a call this afternoon from David from London Police Station informing me that fraudulent transcations are taking place in my account (approx. ?3100) and it would be best for me to relocate my funds into safe keepings. Does this sound strange to anyone else? I said righto mate, "I expect that you will take care of it for me then." - Not a believer.
