Im confused about these. I answered a call yesterday when I was at work. She said she was from virgin and needed to discuss my account. She wouldn t say why or give any indication as to what the call was about until I went through a security check. The thing is, I have both my mobile and tv, broadband at home phone package with them and have not missed any payments since I have been with them. Line was silent when I picked up phone then “clicked” off after about 3 secs; probably scammers multi calling.

This number has been "Spoofed" as there is no business in Neath where this number is based which is a lawyers etc. The number is being used by an overseas call centre to generate leads. DO NOT ANSWER OR DISCUSS AS THIS WILL ONLY MAKE IT WORSE!!!! You will get further calls as they pass your number on as a "live" number.

Had 4 recorded messages left from this number in the last week alone and now I m getting the same types of calls to my mobile. I ve just reported them to Ofcom at http://consumers.ofcom.org.uk/2012/10/tackling-nuisance-calls-and-messages/ Hopefully if enough people do it they will be stopped.

This number called at 7.20pm but left no message, I ve been pestered by the RAC off an 0845 number for some weeks now, but when I ve answered I politely tell them that I m busy and hang up. I ve noticed that a couple of people have mentioned the RAC on this page so am presuming they re trying to get me from a different number.
