Apparently a call from Microsoft about my computer. I didn t let him go any further, as it is a scam. Avoid.

I put my number in on an insurance comparison site and now recieve 5/10 calls a day!!! Tell them I ain t interested and still get called. Very frustrating.

Person with an Asian accent (after a delay) introducing himself as Peter Thompson purporting to be from BT claimed someone in America was using my IP address and accessing emails . Asked what devices I was using to access the internet. The scammer wasn t afraid to argue back aggressively when I told him in no uncertain terms I knew this was an attempt to hack in to the internet.

SERIOUS WARNING...I m a solicitor dealing with welfare benefit appeals and more and more clients are coming to me after completing this telephone "survey" and within 72 hours their ESA and PIP claims are being suspended or declined.
