I ve had 2 calls from a person with an asian accent claiming to be from "national accident department" which is dodgy. He was "guessing" I had been involved in a car accident. I tried to quiz him knowing this was a scam of some sort. When I pressed him on the details of any accident,he bluffed as he knew I was asking too many questions. The only real info I got was he was in Birmingham, all other information I got was just fiction. The clue to the call is upon picking up the receiver there is a 5 second

Robot voice called claiming that my NI Number has been identified as "suspicious" and has been linked to a number of crime activities. It then went on to say something along the lines of; "it's very time sensitive to...". I hung up at that point as I expect it was going to give me details on how I can either hand over all of my personal details or pay a fine or whatever.

Just received a call from this number. I have had this before and I fell for it. He sounds like someone from an Indian call center except with fake background office ambiance. He will say your computer is at risk and is pinging their server and you need to do (X) in order to secure your computer.
