This number has been calling several times a day for weeks
Caller said she was from "Energy Advisors" and that they work alongside my energy supplier. I asked who was my enery supplier and she said "EDF". This was wrong. Asked why she was calling me she said she was acting on "a lead". I told her that this was completely untrue as she clearly didn't even know who was my energy supplier. We accepted a call from this company as we were in the process of trying to get a lifeline installed, due to coincidence we ended up with them visiting. Clearly cold-calling/ambulance chasing. Accept at your peril- in person sales technique equally as aggressive and alarmist (no pun intended)!!

Called by this number today, said from Labour Party, questioned about why I joined as a registered supporter of Labour Party, was I a member of another organisation etc. I really took exception having to declare whether I voted labour in the last general election; irrespective of whether I did or not, that s my business! Since when do people have to tell others how they vote in at the polling booth!

They call from this number twice a day under the guise of different company names - Direct Utilities, Business Utilities, Select Utilities, Regional Utilities. They are clearly dumb, because when requested to remove our details from their records and stop calling, they say OK and then don t do it, despite being told the we only have a mailing box address and therefore have no need for utilities. Go back to school, children!
