I bought a phone cover for my iPhone 2 days ago from EBay. Then 2 days later got a call on my home phone supposedly ex dir. it was an automated call offering me a new iPhone the same make as the one I have. This site tells me the call was made from my local area. The phone cover is coming from my local area. Too coincidental? When I rang it back I just got a recorded message saying the number I have dialed is not a correct number please dial again. Some fancy scam here. Probably from the eBay seller?

A recorded voice saying it was the final warning regarding a pending lawsuit against me with regards my tax. My boyfriend has been receiving the same messages. Clearly a scam as neither of us have had any issues with HMRC regarding our tax returns. Suggest blocking this number and reporting it.
