Fraud Spoofed Caller Line ID (CLI) by a company called Buy It Direct Ltd. Registered number 04171412. Registered office: Unit A Trident Business Park, Leeds Road, Huddersfield, England. Suspected reason for spoofing their number is they leave you a message (probably regarding a purchase you made) and want you to call back. This number called me on 16/02/2023 at 10am and was a auto-mated message claiming to be from bank security. It's a scam call.
Don't know who it was, they didn't leave a message, I didn't answer the phone because I was preparing lunch. Have now blocked the number because on another site over 600 people received a call today.
Apparently I am being prosecuted for tax evasion and as I did not press option 1, I will be going to jail. Recorded message.

Wanted £200 to fix, as our Mcafee didn't cover "network". Said we'd call back and given this number. Subsequently checked with Currys who support some of our tech who confirmed it's a scam
Automated call saying from bank. Suspicious activity on bank card/credit card. Checked online and does say fraud team do automated calls but then will phone or text you… I just don’t press any buttons on phone as you never no.. phoned fraud line to check.. guess what it wasn’t them.
SCAM - rang first from a London landline. Stating this is Scorpions and I have applied for a loan for £2000 with £99 monthly repayment over 24 months. Explained I haven’t. Began insulting me after he said I should stop wasting people’s time if I don’t need the loan. Politely asked to watch his tone. Started screaming “Shut Up! Shut Up!”. Hung up. Called from the mobile number just to say “Fuck You”.

When 'agent' was asked who they were from just said the call was sent through to them and hung up.....need I say more...... potentially phishing

Does anybody recognise this, suspect, phone number, 02392379223, from which I received an automated call earlier this morning? The ‘female’ speaking voice, claimed to be from ‘AMAZON’, and wanted me to give, account, details. Needless to say , I hung up and did a ‘Who called me’ phone number search, which showed it was from the Portsmouth area, I wasn’t aware that AMAZON was based in the UK, let alone Portsmouth. All I can say is…….. BE WARNED!
