Fourth time this week, calling from "O2". Last time they called, they were from Vodafone. Idiots. Told me I could save £££ on my contract. Called twice in the space of 5 minutes, first time I answered they hung up after I said hello. Second time they asked for me by name, I asked who they were calling on behalf of and they hung up again.
Woman asked me for personal details and got angry when I told her I don't give out personal information to strangers over the phone. Very rude shouting "Oh my god! Really??"
Most likely spam. I live in Ireland and no one from London should be ringing me because I have no business in London whatsoever. No family no bank account nothing. Rang back and gave a tone and immediately call ended.

SCAM Had a number of calls recently offering a new iPhone. I don't use or like Apple products so they are wasting their time. 2 calls yesterday from 01208 247201 - missed the 1st, but they rang again withing seconds. As suspected, another iPhone scam call. That block of numbers is owned by Franzcom Telecoms in Bodmin, Cornwall. Something needs to be done to prevent these foreign scammers spoofing UK telephone numbers.

This was a scammer who pretended to be from BT talking about illegal access to your broadband.!! That's rich!! Hacked my bank account and Amazon a/c. It took ages-up to 5 days to clear this mess up and it leaves a sour taste in your mouth. If someone had asked me last night if the death penalty was appropriate for scammers, I would have agreed. Now thinking about it castration without anaesthetic would be better.
