Freaked my mum out, because they knew her name and postcode already. They tried to get her bank details to issue a refund from talk talk. She rightly told them no and they got abusive and hung up.

Reckons they have a cheque for £3100 which they say is PPI I wrongly paid on a loan, a local delivery man would deliver the cheque and when it is cleared and the money is in my account he will call again to collect Paysafe Vouchers for £225 which I have to buy and show to the cheque deliverer before he will hand over the cheque. Amazon scam. Recorded message tells me I have ordered an Apple Ipad through Amazon and to press 1 if I want to cancel so I did as I like to string them along. All I got was a repeat of the message. What a strange scam if they don't even have the opportunity to get any information!

I got a missed call from this number but then when I tried to call back it said the number didnt exist.

I have no connection with the area or tel no. I did return an item to a company in Cheshire some time ago apart from that it is mystifying.

Got a call today from a foreign woman claiming to be from "Consumer Lifestyles" asking me to do a survey on my "lifestyle" ie shopping habits, likes and dislikes, all the usual crap to illicit personal details from you and even how to stop unwanted calls!! Recorded message - that 2 transactions done on card - one for Amazon (never use) and one to transfer money abroad. Blocked the number.

Other Internet and Truecaller users have listed this number as spam, they don t speak on the phone when the call is answered and if you phone the number back you get told the number is incorrect or doesn t exist!
