9 calls in 2 weeks even with the number logged on the call blocker and they still get through with this irritating massage about a supposed SMS message which can’t be recovered. Whoever this is needs shooting ! I eventually called BT and asked them to block the number from ever reaching me.

Claimed to be the National Crime Agency. I hung up

Rang, answering machine started, caller waited then hung up when we didn t answer.

tried selling me "extra good sim card", claiming to be from VM, didnt go through the tpical VM log in [you now enter various digits of passcode with keypad, NOT by voice], poor english, noisy line, they have phoned three times in the last two days from the same numer, I have now blocked their call.

The point of the scam is to find gullible people who will believe what they say. They are crooks who once they find a victim will ask them for personal details and /or credit card/bank details "So we can proceed with our refund to you" They then commit identity fraud or empty your bank account. These people called concerning PPI. I was foolish enough to reply STOP and it charged my 50 pence. Clearly, this is a scam and these people must be stopped before they de-fraud more users.
