The caller said that they were from the National Grid and needed to change my meter. Apparently it is malfunctioning. This is a prelude to trying to get my bank details I thin; I didn't hold on for long enough to find out.

In my considered opinion this is a 'SPAM' call. The caller repeatedly interrupted me when I was trying to speak! Said he was from an organisation called 'Premier Rewards'. Sounded highly suspicious - he was telling me he wanted to give me some money .... for nothing!! Yeah!!!

I asked how they have my number and she said from a shared database of all UK providers, although this would seemingly breach GDPR for sharing customer's contact details and wouldn't make sense for the businesses to risk losing customers this way. Potential scam/attempt fraud. Female voice, human not a recording, claiming to be an "energy adviser covering the area". Wouldn't shut up and answer questions/deal with a challenge to the "energy adviser" claim and caller hung up when challenged.

SCAM text saying that Simon could not deliver parcel from the Post Office and could I fill in my details. I filled in a pile of crap and they only stopped me going further this time because they cannot count and apparently I am in London...news to me. The call came from Manchester yet again probably rerouted from a call centre abroad. I have blocked the number as always.

Call centre noise in background. Caller asked for "Mr or Mrs *my surname*" I asked who's calling, she said they're caling about the Health & Safety check for the loft insulation. Complete fiction. I told them they had the wrong number and to remove it from their system. Obvious data phishing scam.

SCAM Forgiegn caller rang to "Renew" appliance insurance for £500.

Probably scam, sounded like call centre in background, there was a delay before he said something (which I couldn't understand), then he hung up.

Phonecall from foreign-sounding gentleman, telling me he worked for virgin media (my provider) and warning me that there was some illegal activity going on in my system and I need to action things immediately to save my system - I told him where to go!!

I Che ked tge number and it came up as Russian Federation Pyatigarsk. Don't fall for it!
