Claiming to be from UK Tariff and that Sky customers have been overpaying their accounts and they want to check my payments are OK. They asked when I last made changes and as it is a new account I said I hadn't made changes. They asked how long I have had the account and I said I wasn't comfortable sharing that info. He asked why and I said he was calling from a random number and how do I know who he is. He said "Well I don't know. How DO you know who I am, I am calling from UK Tarrif." I hung up.

I moved house four months ago. I have a private and protected landline number (used to be called ex-directory). I have a call from this number at 7.15 pm on a Sunday evening??? How and why?? A very professional and complicated Fraud/Scam, even the authorities will believe Dean Brewer and his company is very innocent. If you have been a victim of a fraudulent scam and lost money, Dean will say he can get 'All' your money back if you give him £100 per case. You will never get the £100 back as Dean steals it and hides the money. Only UK banks and the real authorities can only get your money back.

This number called me, I am located in south of England, at 1251 local time (GMT) informing me my Internet would be turned off within one hour and offered me various people to talk to in order to avoid this. It sounds very much like a scam for either hacking my system, or extracting money from my account. I would suggest this number is potentially a scam and should be upgraded to rating 8, 9 or 10.
