Automated call SCAM
Caller told me they were from visa and someone was trying to use my card for something costing over £900. It said I should press 1 to cancel or 2 to go ahead. Its obviously nothing to do with Visa so I pressed nothing and hung up the call immediately.
No answer and call disconnected in 3 secs
Says they were Virgin Media, saying my internet wasn’t as good as it should be. Sounded a bit dubious

Scammer, dont pick up.
Claim to be calling for my unnamed bank about suspicious charges from Amazon and an international money transfer. Wanted me to key in a response to speak with an “adviser”. Seems to be a scam/phishing for bank information.
Had a text from this number, allegedly from a bank about a standing order, not me
SCAM Scam ‘energy’ company… Operator said he was the local energy advisor! Hardly likely, as the phone call was from Manchester and I am in Portsmouth! Also, there is no such role in existence! Clearly a scam! He hung up as soon as I asked who he worked for… The positive reports look very dodgy to me… Obviously submitted by the same scamming crew …
give up
Bogus number claiming to be GOV.UK and containing links for claiming fuel rebate
SPAM Said he's from 'the online trading company' and is calling because I have shown interest in online trading - not true. I told him to get lost and hung up, he immediately called again before I blocked the number.
Silent call
Well, they phoned earlier and a recorded message informed me, that it was my banks security department, which it obviously wasn't, the number trace showed a call the Russian Federation, RED FLAG. She said, Somebody has accesed your account and made a £600 purchase fron Amazon and a £2,000 transfer to an international account, RED FLAG I politely told her to stop trying t scam people and she immediately hang up, basically, our phone providers should block these calls, as we are paying to receive them!
