I received a call from thus number and tried to call them back but got a dead tone. Next day someone called and gave me the "sell" told him to email me the details, unfortunately I had fallen in this trap a couple of years ago with a similar sounding company and never received a single booking.

SCAM - “your national insurance number has been deactivated” an alleged ‘National crime agency’. I laughed and hung up as soon as the recorded message said my NI has been deactivated, because that’s frankly impossible.
Answered and the line was complete silence for 30 seconds then they hung up
PPI - do they really think that people do not know about PPI? Where did they get my name and number? Added to the reject list

REALLY HALIFAX. IGNORE THE PEOPLE SAYING THIS IS A SCAM THEY ARE 100% WRONG. Turns out my emergency credit card had a fraudulent payment on it. I’ve never used the card so Halifax must have leaked my details, which is highly worrying. I was suspicious so I called the number on the back of my bank card to be safe but yes this is 100% Halifax’s fraud number. Orange call centers in pee poor countries like India. Not suppressed my number gets sold on. New UK laws for cold callers are in force, but do they have the manpower to actually enforce them?
