Received a call from this 020 37270486, there was an automated message stating that the call is from HMRC and there was a fraud case linked to my name and if I didn’t press 1 to speak to an advisor I’d immediately go to jail. I then got connected to an advisor with non british accent that asked me my name, I was busy looking the number up online so told the person to hold the line and he hung up immediately. Probably a scammer. These calls use spoofed numbers and originate outside the UK. Just block the number if you have the facility.

very convincing voice recording - doesn t sound like a recording but becomes obvious when it ignores your responses. Some rubbish about accident claims. Please report to ICO especially if you re on TPS like me.
Scam, left a voicemail saying if I need to press one to get connected to hmrc because I have tax fraud in my name and if I don't ASAP I'll have a warrant out for my arrest. This isn't something hmrc threaten you with over voicemail.

The blighters rang me again with their wretched recorded message telling me it was not too late to claim. I was under pressure, about to send an urgent email. I want to see these people prosecuted. If I thought I was entitled to a p.p.i. refund I would claim it myself, not pay some parasitic firm to do it for me and get half the money. These people are dangerous. They catch out innocent people.
Unknown to me - not answered and no voicemail left. I remain suspicious until I know more. Very similar to known spam numbers.
