This number has rung my elderly mother claiming that she has one £50,000 and all she needed to do was transfer £400 into an account. Instantly, we knew this was a fraud. Yet they were willing to send a taxi round to my disabled mother to take her to the bank to deposit this money. SCAM

Quite clearly an Ambulance Chaser allegedly from National Accident Investigation saying that I had an accident which was not my fault. Where do they get their information and why is it that the Information Commissions Office does not stamp out these nuisance calls. Following up a comment that this number might be Friends of the Earth, I emailed FoE and was told the number is a fund-raising agency called Listen, used by FoE. At my request FoE has deleted my number. I suggest that anyone who keeps getting calls from this number also contacts FoE via the Contact Us form on the website, to ask for their phone details to be removed so no more calls are received.
