Can’t find anything in a google search that confirms this. Therefore I believe this number is a scam.

Answered but silence on ht eline - blocked the number, prbably a computer dialling to validate numbers.
said they were from BT to query internet connection said was been interfered with. When I said I did not own a laptop or computer the call changed and they said would be sorted in 3 days. Defogger scam.

I have BT guardian which asks callers to announce who they are before I answer. Most sales calls hang up at that point, this one didn't. Lovely lady explained that I could have a half hour appointment to check energy efficiency of my home and advise of any improvements. I made the appointment. Very polite young man called Adam arrived, checked the loft and roof, looked around, discussed my energy payment per month. The information given was useful, nothing to sign, no sales pitch. I would have no worries.

They said they were calling from HMRC, however HMRC never calls mobile numbers. I told them I knew this was a scam. They wouldn't stop pushing, so I played along a little. They then asked me to download Teamviewer. 020 8144 3803 Windows computer virus scam. They (whoever 'they' are) have been using the same script for years. In fact, this number goes back a while. They con you into giving them access to your PC, plant a virus on it (supposedly) then charge you £100's to remove it. Just hang up & block the number.
