Received many calls from same number but just the last digit changes. It is an automated message saying that they are HMRC and that a tax fraud claim is made against me, that I should press 1 and talk to a representative otherwise I will be arrested shortly. It is so annoying as to how they get my number, i have had so many unsolicitored calls recently. Woman phoned asking if I was Miss (my girlfriend s name) I m not the butchest of guys but I don t sound like a woman.... Very heavily accented Indian accent, also appalling sound quality with lots of noise in the background. When I asked who it was from, she mumbled something about PPI at which point I put the phone down.

SCAM Call started with ' A oversees transaction of 600 pounds was made today was this you ' Was then asked to answer yes or no. I stated no I was put through to a foreign call center stating to be from the Halifax. I stopped him and stated I will end the call and call Halifax direct myself. After doing so Halifax stated it was a scam call and to block the number.
