Claiming to be from DWP. I got the call completely out the blue. It was a pre-recoded voice. A definite whiff of fraud about it. I hung up.
This number called my mobile and I ignored it which I do routinely. Then called it back from a switchboard number (so would be unknown to them) - permanently engaged. Quite constent with a dodgey number.
Brent one delivery app phone number. You would order and they will not deliver the food. Really hard to get a refund. DO NOT USE their app.
Called and like others, reported to be from Microsoft, said that they had the serial number of windows that was reporting that my computer was being hacked as we spoke by a criminal gang (how ironic!) and that they were from an agency who needed to stop the gang by stemming the flow through my PC.....Said we know an IT expert who we would ask to take a look ourselves, he (called himself Peter Wilson) said that an expert would not be able to find it. SCAM / SPAM 01733889904 Rang saying they received my number from the government saying I am in debt, when I said that information like that wouldn't be provided by the government and would be in breach of GDPR they got defensive. Then informed them that my number is on telephone preference service and to remove my number from their computer system. Will wait to see if I get any more calls.

Fraud- claiming to be from sky, claiming technical issues and someone trying to access my broadband/modem, wanted me to give him access of my devices so he can show me what he means, I asked him to clarify that he wants me to give him access to my devices, he repeated that there was a technical issue and someone was trying to access my broadband/modem and that he can show me, so I asked him to answer my question to which he said yes, i also asked him to l me what name is on the account. He promptly hung up.

Fraud caller said his name was Brian and he worked for Microsoft and based in Reading. Told me that I had down loaded illegal material on my computer, to log on and he would clear it. when I declined he threatened me by "blocking" my internet access. I suggested he do that and I would call him back to be reconnected. He hung up!
