It's obvious they have a way to get into our phone system. Another one they use is Liverpool 01514.

I asked how they have my number and she said from a shared database of all UK providers, although this would seemingly breach GDPR for sharing customer's contact details and wouldn't make sense for the businesses to risk losing customers this way. SCAM, claim to be calling from The Financial Conduct Authority regarding a frozen Bit Coin account in my name, when told I did not have BIT coin, insisted that i do!!

Called me twice. Today I checked the number. The pitch: calling from my mobile provider to offer a 30% discount off my bill, then they want to know how much you pay for your bill. If you say sure - they will try and set this up on the phone, or direct you to your provider website. like this is an option, I chose my provider's website, they hung up. Today's call it was the 30% discount again - and hung up.

This number called my business phone. I picked up and there was no response. I said hello? The reply was "mmm I'm gonna cum" and he put the phone down. My husband called back, he picked up the phone but as soon as he heard my husbands voice he put the phone down.

A man with a very strong accent (difficult to understand) spoke about iPhones. I asked where he got my number from and he said 'from your provider, Vodaphone'. I'm not with Vodaphone so I told him that's untrue and he must be lying. He then proceeded to call me a liar - twice! Bizarre phone call. Potentially trying to gain personal data. Blocked.
