When answering the call, a pre-recorded male voice told me that my NI number would be under investigation, because several fraudulent activities had been registered. It then urged me to press 1 for further information. I terminated the call immediately. However, this does not seem a legitimate phone number from which such a call would be made. Therefore, I am classing this as scam/fraud.
While almost everyone with breath in their body knows how dodgy Barclays Bank has consistently been over the last 20 or so years but, these are most certainly criminals using fabricated assertions they are Barclays (Bangsters) Fraud Department. All and every search of all known Barclays telephone numbers confirms no such number is as these fraudsters state, Barclays Fraud Dept! Called me a couple of times.Wasters and have no idea how they got hold of my number but blocked now.
Do not deal with this phone number. Claim to be a loan broker and scam you out of money. Utter scum of the earth. Police and bank are involved. These people are preying on the most vulnerable people and need to be stopped ASAP.
When I was called today from this phone number, my phone showed me that is a potential fraud call, so I didn't answer, I've blocked it.

Got a call from 0208 415 1292 claiming to be from HMRC with an automated message saying that I have tax evaded, without stating my name or anything, and the message carries on saying that they have a warrant on me :P honestly!?!?!?!?... they carry on asking me to press this and that button, which I didn't ofc... I hung up... Careful guys when you get calls from unknown people asking you to press this button or that, you may be giving way for hackers to clone your phone.
