This number rang me but when i rang back it said no one available to take my call. Just wondering if anyone knows who it is tia.
SCAM Started with an automated message informing me that two transactions have taken place on a Visa debit card for varying amounts. Press "1" to approve, press "2" if I dont know. Pressed 2 out of curiosity and was transferred to a man asking for the reason of the call. I repeat the message I received and he then repeats the transaction amounts (obviously reading from a script). Asked him which bank this account was associated with (which he obviously doesn't know). The only thing I understood was the mention of my name and something about a scam ! Couldn't understand who he was or why he was calling due to poor English.

I had a call off this number and asked for their complaints details. I emailed them at [email?protected] I just had to give them my name and number and they removed me straight away. I haven t had any calls since.

Just got my first one from this number this morning. Before I had chance to open they hung up. Glad I found some info before thinking about ringing them back. I don t know why the authorities don t ban people/companies who do this (i.e. dial and hang up so they will get paid by people trying to call back)

Male phoned and said he had been tasked with contacting me because I had worked in engineering. When I told him I had never worked in this sector, he closed the call. It is apparent from other messages here that this is a claims management company trawling for possible clients.

This is a renewal scam phone number. Do not call them. You haven't been billed for renewing Norton (even if you are using it, this number is not Norton). They even claim the number is "toll free" - which it isn't. Also, this is not a term we use in the UK anyway, we would say it was a freephone number. The scam usually involves you logging in to your on-line bank, then them showing you that they have overrfunded you (by blanking your screen then manipulating the contents of the page).
Same comment as previous. Can think of no reason for a call from Wolverhampton so ignored the call.

SCAM - Call centre, once you pick up and speak it goes through to a very busy call centre. Indian sounding gentleman, only knew my first name, I asked who was calling and he claimed "NHS vaccination programme" at which point I told him he was lying and to stop scamming people, he hung up.
