Caller who did not identify himself said he wanted to talk to me about my domestic appliances. He did not use my name or say what domestic appliances he wanted to talk about, or why he wanted to talk about them. A call from this number, did not answer then received a text saying that I called about generator and asked me if I will collect today which I had not called. Could be a scam
Purported to be Virgin Media reviewing your account to provide the best possible service. They fail on DPA/GDPR as don't seem to understand the principles of validating they are speaking to the account holder. They don't have access to account information such as account numbers, billing area codes etc.

SCAM - has to be. This number called me today. I do not answer unrecognised numbers. They left a voice mail, foreign voice, couldn't really pick up on everything said, voice was quite deep. They did say I needed to make a payment and to answer emails. Up until this mornings call I had had no emails asking for payment - not that I would answer them anyway. email in my Inbox purporting to be from Bulb (My Energy Company) - I have a DD with them they would not act in this way = DELETED !

A guy with a strong eastern accent, called Jason, phoned me claiming to be from BT, claiming that my Internet address had become visible to everyone and that people would try to scam me. He wanted me to open Google but I said I couldn't. It felt like a scam of some sort.

Fraud - pretends to be British Gas and is quite consistent on speaking to our Manager. Has called several times over the past fortnight.
