Kept ringing my landline, when I asked him why he kept ringing he said if I didn t talk with him he would ring every day non stop until I did!! Bullyish, rang 10 times in 4 minutes.

Beware, this number has reportedly been used by Vanquis Bank representatives. These callers claim to be representing themselves as a variety of other animal/pets or other charities. If you have had a debt with Vanquis and start getting calls from this number then beware. Do a web search using terms vanquis, debt and this (or other) phone numbers - it may be a pursuit of DEBTS!!!

Called today said he was Steve from TalkTalk and my internet connection was about to be shut off for 15 days. He would send a new router and cable to avoid this. He was about to ask me to follow instructions to re-set router, etc when I asked for proof he was from TalkTalk. He hung up! Funny though, we are actually in talks with TalkTalk about a new router and seem to get scam calls right after we speak to them!

Got fed up with this number calling me so eventually answered, Told me I was claiming for third party accident i never had in kast 2 year when I asked with which insurance companies were involved I was told that wasnt important! So hung up, hopefully calls may stop now. Total scam.

When you answer your phone and if it s a number you don t recognise, DON T SPEAK JUST LISTEN! Wait for the caller to speak first and then decide whether to simply put the phone down. If it s a recorded message, it ll nearly always be a scam or a computer dialling a batch of numbers in sequence and trying to assertain if the number they have just dialled is a voice line. i.e. a private phone number. This number has been calling me daily 4 or 5 times aday whether its my mobile number or my landline. I have answered it once because its a London number and my daughter is at university down there, and I just get laughing and talking in the back ground and then they hang up
