I applied for a loan last week. Big mistake, as it seems my details have been sold on to multiple nuisances-this number being one of them. I have been inundated with several calls, I answered this one, they asked for me by name. I said I was someone else, asked who they were. They said they were some sort of credit management company. SCAM 01482680047 pretending to be from the police to gather feedback and follow up an incident that had happened, this case was closed weeks ago so I knew this was a scam straight away. Looks as though the scammers have accessed the police database. They started the call with saying the call was recorded and I needed to consent to GDPR.

This line should belong to some company, but no remark on internet about it. Haven't found any info for this one, does anyone have some experience with this number? Be aware if this number calls, it is for a shared costs, so better not to call back. Have checked also different formats of this number, but no luck. As people do search for this number, it should be used, so be aware.

Fraud - DANGER! Pretends to be from Amazon and tries to gain access to your computer!

Asian-sounding male calling from "Bank Security" informing me of suspected fraud on my account. Seemed unaware that my bank has no connection with Norway where the call seemed to have been placed from; also couldn't provide the account number he was calling about or even the Bank he was calling from.

I received the text a few time saying "Lloyds Bank Please call us on 08081014462 about your bank account. Thank you” I checked the lloyds bank website for a phone number and called them and they said they didn’t contact me at all and 08081014462 isn’t their number and DO NOT contact that number any question call the official Lloyds number.

Fraud - Text saying I have a voicemail and to click on link. Reported to Action Fraud.

Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as a scam offers (in most cases accident claims). For sure some general call centre. I recommend to block the whole 08437244xxx range... Did someone answer any number of this range?
