Caller says you've suspicious transactions on your card, knows your name and last four digits of the card. Asks you to check the balance, in my case without any security questions. The same man rang yesterday from 01613949542 with the same line of patter. How far down the survey does he start asking for your personal details etc?

this number rang me and then rang off when I answered. This is the usual pattern used by scammers piggy-backing someone else's number.

some one called from this number ..gave name as Mr TYNE ..re work he wished on a property .. he paid by cheque which when submitted to the bank .. became as rubber ..now carnt find him ..please take great care ..im still trying to contact him could just be a error ...

SCAM Wife was subject to the Post Office text scam and gave her credit card details and personal information by return. She cancelled the card immediately and was issued a new one. Call center can't speak English clearly (Indian) and kept asking if it was a mobile they were calling and the answer was yes and as they could not be understood the call was stopped and then blocked.

Fraud obtained my ex directory phone number by illegal means, tried to tell me he had everyone's number which is a lie because I have not given this company permission to contact me.
Safe number I received a missed call from this number but none of the 'who called me' websites had any comments and I wanted to know who had called. As the number is local to me, I took a chance and called them back, It's the Boots Opticians Appointment Booking Centre so it's quite safe. They have written to me several times as I'm due for my eye test but I just hadn't got around to making an appointment. I'm leaving this comment just to let other searchers know who called.
