Clearly this is a nuisance and most certainly is unsolicited. Whilst the number appears to be a Manchester number clearly it is not. An elderly family member had a call from this number and in no way could understand the Asian caller. It is probably a fake number. When they ask if I have been in an accident recently my usual answer is to say "You tell me you seem to know". To the contributor who asked what 00 means in front of the number it is simply the first 2 digits you would dial when calling

I had moneys passing in and out of my account for a car purchase and my Bank were checking I was happy with the transactions to go through. Did several security checks and were satisfied I was happy with the money going out of my account.
This call came about half an hour after the last, and was easily recognisable because of the usual crackling. I bellowed "Hello" loudly enough to burst the caller s eardrums, and that put an end to it.
