Karim called at 14.26. Asked why I'd cancelled my appointment for this evening. Apparently I'd emailed to cancel at 10.47 because my partner has covid. I haven't sent any emails or got any appointments. It must be a scam but I've no idea what he planned to get out of it, maybe if the story fitted my circumstances he'd try to get a cancellation fee off of me. The worrying thing is that he knew my full name. I can't think of any way that could happen.
SCAM: Claims to be Evri saying "your package wasn't delivered" TWO DAYS ago. It provides a link to "select a new delivery slot" which NO COURIER DOES. I didn't press on the link and blocked the number instead.
Said was from EE PROMOTIONAL team. Hung up as EE CALL from their contact centres and appear as an 03 number and not a domestic landline number. Caller was indian from their accent and dialect. Likely using a voip set up . Do not give details and hang up.

Phoned at 7.15 a.m. claiming to be from Amazon, regarding £49 taken from my account. I asked what information she had about me... She disconnected.

No idea who it was but the heavy Indian-Pakistani accent meant that I had no idea what this person was saying. Hard to believe any legitimate company hires someone who’s accent make them unintelligible. Blocked.

Text Message claimed to be missed delivery with a link to Evrie imitation site. Asks for your details on first page including date of birth then on next page says there is a small redelivery charge for new time slot and asks for credit card details. No idea who calls my landline phone from telephone number 01722741109. All calls go onto my telephone answering machine but no message is ever left from him.

This is a scam. Automatic woman's voice says your Amazon Prime has expired and to rejoin to pay £95.00 She says to press 1 to rejoin, or 2 for customer services. As I do not use Amazon this made me aware it's a scam and terminated the call and dialled 147 to find this Bournemouth number had registered as the caller.
