Was the usual boilers on benefits call. I engaged for a short time, he asked about anyone being on benefits/pension credits etc. and what type of heating I have. I said wife is on benefits and on gas. Getting excited now he "helped" me put that into, wife is on ESA and the house runs on LPG gas and is 20 years old. Had a call at approximately 11.10pm that sounded fraudulent. Have a close relative in hospital with a severe heart condition so have been waiting by the phone for urgent news of their status. We have never had a call of this nature on our landline or at this hour and due to the circumstances it has caused enormous and unnecessary distress. Overwhelmed as i write this.

These people just lie and tell you you have money due back on your rates when you don t! They sound very genuine at first but when you check with valuation office they say that it is a scam. Stay clear
