Received a cold call purporting to be EE. The number had obviously been spoofed as it belongs to a London Cafe.

got a strange phone call from this number. It was almost like an automated message deliverer talking about an unsigned packaged. Believe it was just a scam caller.
Call received to my mobile 13.19 11/2. I get very few incoming calls hence suspected Spam call immediately. Decided to answer to have a bit off fun with the likely scammer but call cut off by the other party (remote dialler ?) as I went to answer. My Android phone was 'lit up' with 'Suspected Spam' - number blocked.

This may not be a scammer but it is annoying, Avery's Wine Merchants who seem to call from various related numbers to hawk their wares. Bloody nuisance.

When they ring , they always get me out of bed, when i look at the number on the phone screen its very close to my area number so i answer , then there's a delay while it clicks and connects to a different part of the world and then a foreign sounding lady always mis- says my name with a long eee at the beginning and there is an office noise back ground . Fraud A recorded message from ‘visa debit’ about a fraudulent transaction… I pressed 1 out of curiosity and a female with Indian accent said her name was Annie Wilson. I asked her what company . She said Visa.. She could not expand … obviously a lying, cheating, disgusting thief. BLOCKED
Automatic voice saying "I was overcharged of £300 by Amazon & a £1,300 as been transfer was taken out of my Bank Account, if this is not you press 1". I have never ordered anything from Amazon & I have never transferred anything from my Bank Account. Do not entertain them, do not press 1, just put the phone down, block & report this N*.

Likely scam. They rang me. I picked up but didn't say anything into the phone. They didn't say anything either and then hung up. I always answer in this way when I receive an unexpected phone call from an unfamiliar number. Legitimate callers always say "hello" and try to get a response. Scammers hang up. It happens every time!

Someone has been calling me from this phone and several other numbers similar to this, the person keeping telling me about earning extra income. I have done many things to dissuade them from calling to no avail. I have even insulted them, still they wont stop.

They called several times and unable to understand the call as it is in a foreign language. Bit scary now so I blocked the caller
A scam caller called Crypto-something-or-other. Offered me 50 dollars of Bitcoin in exchange for attending some seminar; no doubt the scam is that they try to sell you more junk cryptocurrency. Nobody really transfers Bitcoin in increments as low as $50 because the fees are so high. They knew my first name somehow and ignored the TPS Do Not Call list.
