I was called from 07900263683 purporting to be from Virgin Media. The woman indicated that my internet connection was not safe. I hung up as I had been caught in a scam before.
This call is from the Visa Debit Fraud pretending there is a pending transaction of £900 and to press one if this is not a transaction you recognise. I never pressed one, but I suspect if they did my bank details would have been requested. I checked with my bank there are no pending transactions

Don't know who called me from this number. I jumped out of bed when the phone rang but I didn't pick up as I didn't recognise the number. It was 7:36 am ffs! Even the sun was still in bed where I live in Greater Manchester and I do't even know where Thanet is, never mind why someone from there would be phoning me at an ungodly hour. I had my Call Blocker on so the caller was put through to my answerphone. The 'message' was just several seconds of a crackling/hissing noise, then the call terminated. This is the second call received from very similar numbers in the last few days, both numbers beginning with 0161 66. As my own number also begins with 0161 66, I suspect that someone is using similar numbers in the vain hope that I'll answer. I highly suspect that it was some sort of scam

Appears to be a scam. Supposed to have paid £216 in March 2021 for 2 years cover on electrical items further 3 years to pay for now. Supposed to have signed a contract but when I asked for a copy of supposed contract to be forwarded caller hung up!!!
