Called claiming he was chasing up an insurance claim, which happened to have been closed two years ago. Sadly for him, I'm not stupid enough to fall for it. Confirmed with my insurer that they had not contacted me and everything was closed. Scammer!

Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. I recommend to block the whole 8438707xxx range... People did someone answer this number?
I answered this caller the second time they rang in one day. It was a guy from Liverpool who thought he was quite clever. Just sounded thick. Said he was from Anchor Solicitors. Wanted to claim something or other for me. I told him he was barking up the wrong tree, so he said he would go and bark up someone else s tree. Lol. What an idiot.

Keep getting calls every day off this and other numbers, when I put it into Google, it comes up with vanquis debt collection, I pay my minimum payment and more every month and have no idea why there calling from debt collection, if they shut down in the next two years I would be pleased as I didn t know the hassle I would get by joining with them! What a nightmare

Be aware if this number calls, it is for a shared costs, so better not to call back. Have checked also different formats of this number, but no luck.
