SPAM Person asked for a name that I have never heard of. I told him sorry, wrong number. He said "that's fine, what's your name please?" I said he doesn't need my name as he has called the wrong number and he got mad at me telling me that I'm rude and should tell him name. I hung up.

SPAM trying to sell rubbish

Persistently calling the last couple of digits of the number change to like 5176 or 5274 or 5175 etc. They call at antisocial hours eg Sunday mornings etc. I suspect, although I never answer, that they’re some kind of debt collector for councils.

It was a automated recording stating they were from visa and there was a £900 action on my visa debit card and to press 1 to find out more then line went dead

Received 2 calls from this number today. Did not pick up as I did not recognise the number. However, I am a bit concerned as the number has been traced to Chechno-Ingushetia. Just be very careful if you receive a call from this number!SCAM

Called this morning, did not have my details but claimed to be from Openreach. Wanted to discuss my internet connection - I don't have one with Openreach. Do not give these guys any information, you will probably regret it.

I have no idea who this number belongs to as I am not willing to call it all I know is the person that fraudulently tried 3 different companies to take loans out of £5000 each application in my name with all my correct details bar my phone number this number was on all 3 applications I’ve had a hell of a day trying to stop this fraud and could possibly take upto a further 7 days as I have to prove who I am like wtf it’s in the hands of action fraud now no idea how they got my details

Phone call received at 1105hrs this morning ( 12th April ) caller with an Asian accent introduced herself as Mary from Sky Technical support advising me that they had received several reports that my internet was causing problems. I terminated the call at this point.

I had a bit of spare time so I turned the conversation upside down and started grilling her. She allegedly got my details from GRS which she said was a government agency. FRAUD SCAM!! This was an automated message initially asking if I'd authorised a payment for £600 to overseas. Transferred to a human who said the payment on your visa debit card, I asked which card, she replied your visa debit. I asked again which card, was told from your bank. Which bank? The bank you authorised the payment from. I said I have several banks so which one. She replied Halifax bank, when I said I don't bank with Halifax she hung up on me. Be careful folks!
