I had a phone call from 02922229992 clalming to be Eon, who asked if I wanted a 'Smart meter', they wanted my account details.... RED FLAG!!!!! Eon SHOULD have my account details - well, they certainly had my phone number. I contacted Eon and they told me to block the number it wan't them....! To be hones't I wondered if this was some dirty trick Eon had dreamed up - how would THEY know I had no Smart meter..... and how did they get my phone number, no prizes for guessing sorry. SCAM Caller claimed to be Covid19 monitoring for the NHS, when I asked to clarify who they were, they cut the call. BLOCK THIS NUMBER. I do not know what their scam is, but it seems they are wanting your personal medical information.

SCAM. The caller was a woman claiming to be based in Cape Town, South Africa. She further claimed to be from the energy company – E.ON – that supplies me with electricity. She knew or guessed my first name, and asked for confirmation of details of my name and mailing address. However, she did NOT ask for – nor did she receive – my e˗mail address, my account number, or any bank or credit card or debit card details. Furthermore, she did not ask for immediate payment. Have nothing to do with this number.

Has rang 3 times in twenty minutes asking for someone who left the company over a decade ago. Then asking for the person who deals with the energy account (we have a broker who deals with it all on our behalf) and when told we are not interested rings back anyway.

SPAM This number leaves an automated robotic sounding message with a slight american accent if the call is unanswered. But the 121 message service only catches the end of the message which asks you to press now to avoid court proceedings. Therefore this appears to be a Scam and the number should be treated with extreme caution. This is the second time in a few days I have been targeted and the number also had 07738 prefix but followed by 207964

Someone called introducing himself as Peter Jones from Finance And Investment Solutions Ltd . they are impersonating a business and personal name by using this landline number to sell a personal loan and trying to get money from people. I checked Finance and Investment solutions Ltd by FCA, and I have been told that Finance And Investment Solutions Ltd is a legitimate company offering only mortgages and its telephone number is totally different from this phone

Scam number trying to get details from people after sending a fraudulent PayPal money request. They get your phone number at least which they can connect to the phone number you call them on and your name which enables them to clone your identity.

Telemarketing. My mobile flagged the number as spam so I answered with my usual 'can i help you' and a woman asked for me, i replied again 'can i help you' and she started talking so fast about some sort of market research. TBH i didnt hear what she was saying cus she talked so fast! When i tried to interrupt her she said something like 'im going to call you everyday' then hung up. Ive blocked the number now.
