Foreign female voice said she was calling from Nationwide and someone at my telephone number had had an accident in the last 3 years. No-one has! SCAM Call received today 15th Feb 2021. Computerised call. Pretended to be from HMRC and that my name was recorded as a tax fraud and a warrant would be issued against me if I didn't press 1 now. I am an accountant in practice who has dealt with the HMRC for 30 years. This a SCAM. The HMRC will never call you like this on such matters. If you do owe money to HMRC only pay them through the secure channels listed on the government website and ensure it is your reference you are making the payment against.

SCAM - Machine talking on the line when you pick up. Claims to be calling form HMRC and that they spotted fraudulent activities on your tax account and you need to press 1 in order to talk to their next available agent. It says if you don't press 1 you will be arrested shortly. After pressing 1 music starts playing and every now and then a machine advises that "your call is very important to them" and your call will be transferred to the next available agent, please stay on the line. disco

Been having these people call non stop twice a day! I have blocked over 15 numbers which they use since they bombard me with texts and voicemails asking for a Victoria - The funny things is that I m male and I don t know a Victoria! I have told these people to stop calling me and that they have the wrong number. Don t worry a lawsuit will soon be in place for harassment since I have recordings of all communications.

Scam rings at least 4 times a week. Never answer unknown numbers. They never leave a message. Rang last night at 9.45pm and again this morning at 8am. Googled the number this morning and it comes up as private house in Sittingbourne. We do not know anyone in Sittingbourne.
