number texted me asking who i was, claiming they had my number on their phone, needless to say i didn't tell them my name, telling them i had no idea how they got my number. Seemed like a scam or worse, especially asking for my name.
Believe it is a scam telephone number. It's supposed to be about internet line to be disconnected if ....... Rubbish!!

Silent call - "Hello", then silence when asked who was calling....then phone put down. Unanswered call earlier, so they could be persistent in tracking live no's - for whatever their purpose. Did sound briefly like a live human, not a recording. No human interaction though - just the harrassment.

Amazon scam from Asian call centre. Supposed fraudulent transaction on my Amazon account. Asked me to give six number code sent to me in SMS from Amazon - This was my two step verification code to change my password. All they need to get this sent to you is your Amazon account linked phone number. I did of course refuse.
Some indian guy claiming to be from a quality center clqiming that I had registered at some trading platform. I was absolutely sure I hadn't registered on the site by mistake as all my information was there. Funny enough he could not give me the date of my supposed registration! LoL When he noticed he did not get anywhere with me, he abruptly hung up. Quite a rude chap if he really intended quality and customer satisfaction. My guess: part of the ongoing scams on Internet

This came up on the phone display as a name/number in my contacts list. Then an Indian voice spoke and told me I was a valued customer and drivelled on in broken dialogue. I put phone down on him. 1471 told me it was this number and the call has appeared in my WhatApp.

This was a call to asking for short survey on rising energy costs. But only asked my name, which she already knew, and if property was rented or private? Than said thanks and goodbye abruptly, with an American sounding accent! What was this?

Missed call I suspect attempted scam. I’m getting a rush of varied timeshare scam call from varied mobile numbers, this looks like the latest attempt. I had missed call on my mobile. I phoned the number from a land-line, and at first there was no answer. It went straight to Vodafone answerphone. I phoned a second time, and a man with a foreign accent answered. I asked who it was but he just said "You phoned me!" He then asked what company I was phoning from. He was quite rude and abrupt. Still no idea who it was ????♀️
