Woman phoned asking if I was Miss (my girlfriend s name) I m not the butchest of guys but I don t sound like a woman.... Very heavily accented Indian accent, also appalling sound quality with lots of noise in the background. When I asked who it was from, she mumbled something about PPI at which point I put the phone down.

Bogus. They just dont speak and hang up.

These people seem to cold call. They are from SCOOT based in Middlesbrough. Amazing really as we are on the telephone preference service and don't take unsolicited calls.

NEVER give ANY information to callers.

Just got my first one from this number this morning. Before I had chance to open they hung up. Glad I found some info before thinking about ringing them back. I don t know why the authorities don t ban people/companies who do this (i.e. dial and hang up so they will get paid by people trying to call back)

These JOKERS are a SCAM JOB, and have CHANGED THEIR PHONE NUMBER TO TRY AND CATCH US OUT. Call Blocking Services active on the OLD NUMBER can t help. Called my business claiming to be a Google partner, spoke a load of rubbish about our website and then passed me on to someone else when I asked what exactly it was they were selling. Claimed not to be selling anything but was clearly a sales call. Very thick accents made them very hard to understand, hung up on them after I realised I wasn t going to get a straight answer.

Scam call from automated voice pretending to from BT internet.

The caller said he was calling on behalf of Vodafone and would like to make me offers. I told him that I m happy with my contract and did not want any calls. He interrupted me and said that I have no idea how good his offer and let them in front of me. I interrupted him and said, "Not interested" and hung up. Why not understand the "No"?
