My advice to anyone would be, never answer to an unknown number unless it s followed by a text message. Even then you should only respond to a text if the message interests you.

Told me that they are in association with Thomas Cook and Thomson Holiday (doubtful!). I was asked if I had been on a package holiday over the past years. It is likely that they want to offer compensation to try and get your bank details.

Fraud Received a message from this number stating it’s from Vodaphone and that ‘we are unable to process your latest payment. In order to avoid fees please update your information via...’ then it gave a link to an https address (looked like Vodaphone but too much else to be valid, I think). I haven’t progressed this, I don’t have anything outstanding with Vodaphone, but just be aware. I will be forwarding this to Vodaphone’s phishing area.
