Regarding this number,is it possible their number could have changed? I have received unsolicited letters twice with my name on but a different address. Delivered because the postman knows me even with the wrong address, contacted them to get my name taken off their system. Branching out? The number l have is 0161 2497331. Calles 30.10.2019. Male said he was from HMR&C and that there was a fraud notification in my name asked me to press 1 to connect with department. I hung up.
Dodgy guy claimed to be ringing from anti crime organisation in London. When asked why it was a Manchester number on caller identifier he stated that it really was London (!) but I could call 08000969345 to verify who he was. Googled that number but that turned out to be a taxi firm in Manchester. Really.... how stupid do they think we are?
